Recently Mr. Howard convinced the Appellate Court to reverse a conviction on an attempted murder case, in which the defendant had been sentenced to 45 years imprisonment. Mr. Howard argued to the Court that the conviction should be reversed on the basis of improper arguments made by the prosecutor as well as improper conduct and rulings by the trial judge. The Appellate Court agreed and granted the defendant a new trial.
